The project consisted of updating and adapting an existing floor plan to the present, to new materials, to new ways of life. A very custom approach was taken, tailoring every detail to work harmoniously throughout the very distinct home.

The client wanted their house to look sleek, clutter-free and contemporary. In consideration of the limited budget, the modification was selected as a refurbishing strategy rather than a reconstructive transformation and efforts for this project were concentrated on giving the space a fresh feel.

New designs were developed for the floor including new lighting, finishes & furnishings.  The work involved interior design detailing, finish selections, lighting design and fixture selection, custom furniture designing, kitchen re-planning with cabinet design and detailing, expansion and re-design of bathroom, and outdoor area.

Contemporary and neutral tones with accents of colors, traditional patterns and materials were used. The use of white helped highlight the natural light flowing in, while the accent walls added a sense of excitement to the place. Natural materials like Traditional Nepali Telia Tiles, wood, and copper were selected to be timeless and add warmth to the home.

The finished result was aesthetically pleasing, and the space worked to improve the lives of the clients.
